The Wellness Foundations package is a structured starting phase designed to help you understand your symptoms, establish priorities, and create a clear, personalized plan. It is how most patients begin working with me.

Initial Wellness Consultation
90-minute comprehensive visit to review your health history, current concerns, and priorities.

Review of Findings & Plan Development
A dedicated visit to review patterns, relevant lab findings when helpful, and develop a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan.

Follow-Up & Support
Structured follow-up visits to assess progress, refine recommendations, and support next steps.
Secure messaging is available for brief questions related to your current plan, with additional visits recommended when more discussion or decision-making is needed.

Labs & Supplements
A foundational lab panel credit when appropriate, along with discounted pricing on professional-grade supplements when recommended.

This package is a good fit if you’re looking for clarity, direction, and a thoughtful, step-by-step approach rather than a quick fix.

Patients begin in my Wellness Foundations Package, a 3-month structure designed to support meaningful, individualized progress over time.

The first appointment in this package is called the Foundations Session, where we complete a comprehensive intake and create a personalized health roadmap. From there, labs and follow-up visits are used to interpret how your body responds and refine recommendations as needed.

This approach allows for thoughtful, step-by-step guidance rather than rushed decisions or piecemeal recommendations.

In limited situations, single-session consults may be appropriate for focused lab interpretation or specific diagnostic questions. These are determined on a case-by-case basis and are not the standard way to begin working together.

Your Intake includes not only your current symptoms and health concerns, but also your previous health history. We will discuss your current health concerns, previous diagnosis, medications, supplements, nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress and any other lifestyle factors that may be relevant. A Naturopathic approach involves a deep dive into all aspects of the individual and requires more time than most patients are typically used to.

Absolutely! Children respond incredibly well to a naturopathic approach. Digestive concerns and allergies can be managed and improved with gentle changes that work with their biology. Many parents and kids themselves find that incorporating herbs & supplements in addition to nutrition & lifestyle recommendations can help with behavioral challenges & mental wellness as well.

You do not not need to live near Gurnee, IL or even in the state of Illinois. Consultations can be held virtually and I utilize an online vitamin and supplement dispensary that ships directly to you.

Discovery Calls are held over the phone or virtually.

Intakes, lab reviews & follow-ups are done virtually or in-person, whichever you prefer.

Each protocol is personalized to your unique needs, so recommendations will vary. In most cases, supplements are included alongside lifestyle and nutrition adjustments to support your wellness journey.

If your protocol includes vitamins, supplements, or herbs, you’ll receive an email with a link to purchase them, along with clear instructions on how to take them.

Please note that supplements are not included in the cost of wellness consultations. You can pay with a credit card or, depending on your plan, with an HSA or FSA card. Be sure to check with your plan administrator to confirm eligible expenses.

It depends on what you are addressing in your visit. Naturopathic doctors are trained in interpreting laboratory findings and are able to make lifestyle recommendations such as supplementation and dietary changes based on these findings.

Lab tests can be ordered for you including specialty lab tests such as hormones, allergens and GI health. These costs are out of pocket and not included in the cost of wellness consultations, although may be covered by your HSA/FSA funds.

Some patients find they are able to have standard lab tests ordered through their primary care physician which are covered by insurance. We are happy to accept and assess lab results provided from your PCP.

Naturopathic care is currently not covered by insurance in Illinois. By working within a cash-pay system of care we are able to work together to ensure you only pay for the services that address your concerns and are not restricted by insurance approval.

We do accept HSA and FSA cards. Please check with your provider to confirm coverage for our services, as eligibility depends on your plan.
